[INFOGRAPHIC] Electricity-saving tips in offices

Proper use of computers, printers, photocopiers, air conditioners... will help offices and workplaces save electricity effectively.

Air conditioning

Set the temperature to 26 degrees Celsius or higher;
Use curtains/blinds to avoid direct sunlight in the room;
Maintain and clean regularly.

Printer/Photocopier

Choose products with energy labels;
Place the machine in a dry, airy place, away from direct sunlight;
Choose a machine with integrated power-saving industrial components;
Turn on sleep mode for the machine;
Turn off the power for unused machines;
Do not turn the machine on/off continuously;
Do not operate the machine continuously for more than 2 hours.

Computer

Do not turn the machine on/off continuously;
Reduce screen brightness;
Activate energy-saving features on the computer and connected devices;
Exit unnecessary programs;
Use LCD, and LED screens to save electricity;
Upgrading the computer with an SSD drive will help reduce energy usage;
Check regular computer maintenance.
