Proper use of computers, printers, photocopiers, air conditioners... will help offices and workplaces save electricity effectively.

Air conditioning
  • Set the temperature to 26 degrees Celsius or higher;
  • Use curtains/blinds to avoid direct sunlight in the room;
  • Maintain and clean regularly.
Printer/Photocopier
  • Choose products with energy labels;
  • Place the machine in a dry, airy place, away from direct sunlight;
  • Choose a machine with integrated power-saving industrial components;
  • Turn on sleep mode for the machine;
  • Turn off the power for unused machines;
  • Do not turn the machine on/off continuously;
  • Do not operate the machine continuously for more than 2 hours.
Computer
  • Do not turn the machine on/off continuously;
  • Reduce screen brightness;
  • Activate energy-saving features on the computer and connected devices;
  • Exit unnecessary programs;
  • Use LCD, and LED screens to save electricity;
  • Upgrading the computer with an SSD drive will help reduce energy usage;
  • Check regular computer maintenance.
