This training program is part of the annual activities of the Vietnam National Energy Efficiency Programme for the 2019–2030 period (VNEEP3).
The “Energy Manager” training course aims to provide knowledge on energy management in accordance with Article 33 and to meet the requirements of Article 35 of the Law on Energy Efficiency and Conservation No. 50/2010/QH12. The course is designed to help enterprises reduce operational and production costs by implementing solutions that improve the energy efficiency of equipment.
In addition, the course offers participants the opportunity to address energy challenges, protect the environment, and save costs while still meeting current and future energy demands. Topics will also cover the economic operation of power systems and the operation of a competitive electricity market.
The training course will be held at the Building of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (224 Dien Bien Phu Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).
The course's target participants include graduates from engineering disciplines or other fields related to energy management and current Energy Managers at various organizations. It is scheduled to last five days, from May 27 to 31, 2025.
Participants will be trained following the Ministry of Industry and Trade's curriculum by a team of instructors who are experts from the Innovation, Green Transition, and Industrial Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the University of Technology, and ENERTEAM.

Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the final assessment will be awarded the "Energy Manager" certificate by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, valid nationwide.
