"Energy Manager" training course opening

On September 18, 2018, in Hanoi, Vietnam Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company (VETS) cooperated with the Electric Power University and Department of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) in organizing a training course named "Energy Manager" as a part of the MOIT's program organized annually to help key energy users comply with the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy.
More than 20 persons who are energy managers of key energy consuming enterprises operating in industrial production, building management,... all over the country joined the training course.

Its opening ceremony also attracted the participation of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang, Director general of Department of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development, MOIT, Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Head of Electric Power University Court, Mr. Hoang Hai, Managing Director of VETS and lecturer of Electric Power University.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang emphasized the importance of the economical and efficient use of energy to the national energy security and hoped that the course's knowledge would be applied by trainees in the process of production management in their enterprises.
Mr. Le Anh Tuan Head of Electric Power University Court told that the Electric Power University would create the best conditions for the successful organization of the course. He also wish that with the participation of experienced trainers and modern facilities the course would provide much useful information to trainees.
Participants in the training course, trainees would be aware of legal provisions on economical and efficient use of energy. In addition, they would be provided knowledge on energy efficiency in key energy-consuming systems such as lighting system, compressed air system, steam system, local air conditioning system, industrial refrigeration system,...
At the end of the opening ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang and other officials of Department of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development visited the Electric Power University's lab used in the training course.
The training course takes place in 5 days from September 18 to September 22, 2018.
The Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy stipulates that key energy-consuming enterprises must designate their energy manager.
Energy managers of key energy-consuming enterprises must have energy management certificates issued by competent agencies.
